A very small part of karate is the competition side. At Sono, we have an established karate squad of athletes aged from 7, competing in local and national competitions, all the way to our senior atheltes who have been competining for over ten years both on national and international stages winning National, European and World titles.

We have current athletes representing the English Karate Federation (EKF) national kata team. Furthermore, the coaches are EKF coach accredited and World Karate Federation (WKF) coach acredited.
