Hi, my name’s Molly, I'm 3rd Dan Black belt and my karate journey began in Spain at the age of 7.

I started competing very soon after as I thrive in competitive situations and this led me to be National Champion at the age of 9. When I moved to England I joined Sensei Mike and Grace straight away where I was mentored and pushed in all aspects of my karate.

In 2017 I was selected to be part of the JKS England Squad for both Kata and Kumite and within 9 months I was competing in Belgium at the European Championships where I achieved a Gold in Team Kata and bronze in Individual Kumite.

Following this I was selected to compete in Dublin at the World Championships; here I won Gold in Team kata and Gold in individual Kumite which is something I’ll never forget and I was so proud that all of the work myself and Sensei Mike put in had paid off. Also having a training partner like Grace who worked with me everyday letting me use her as a punchbag helped me achieve all of this due to the team and friendship we created.

Teaching karate is something I unexpectedly love, being able to pass my knowledge onto other people and help them progress in their karate journey as well as watching them grow in confidence is like nothing else.

I’m on my way to being a qualified personal trainer, with a particular interest in strength training and functional movements.
Ever since i was young and began doing sports I was always interested in the way the body moved and how I could improve.

Being able to implement exercises into my own as well as my students training that’ll help with speed, agility and power is a passion of mine as it’ll help take their kata and kumite to the next level.
